Each abutment is precision-machined from a solid blank of medical grade titanium alloy or zirconia. Atlantis™ abutment in zirconia The Atlantis™ abutment in zirconia is made of Y-TZP, yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals. It offers unmatched strength and durability and is one of the few all-zirconia-engineered abutments currently on the market. The benefits of zirconia are the natural, tooth-like colour, the excellent biocompatibility and the reduced plaque build-up compared to titanium. Atlantis™ abutment in titanium. Atlantis™ abutments are among the very first CAD/CAM titanium abutments to be anatomically designed and produced for each specific patient and indication. The excellent design means there is no need for hand-grinding by a technician or a clinician. The abutments are milled from titanium alloy blanks. Atlantis GoldHue™ abutment. The Atlantis GoldHue™ abutment has the same features and benefits as the Atlantis™ abutment in titanium. In addition, it has a thin coating of titanium nitride, which gives it a warm gold-shaded color. This is an advantage in esthetically challenging cases with thin soft tissue or when using all-ceramic crowns. Abutment screws All abutments are delivered with the corresponding abutment screw. The abutment screws are designed and produced to match the internal geometry of Atlantis™ patient-specific abutments. Atlantis Gemini™ and Atlantis Gemini+™. Atlantis Gemini™ abutment is a functionally identical duplicate of the original abutment which can serve as a master die for enhanced laboratory accuracy and optimized crown fit. It is ordered and delivered together with the original abutment. Atlantis Gemini+™ abutment allows changes to be made to an existing abutment design. This eliminates the need for new impressions and registrations as well as the need to modify the abutment by hand.

Atlantis™-Abutments gehören zu den allerersten CAD/CAM-Abutments aus Titan, die für jeden einzelnen Patienten und jede Indikation nach anatomischen Vorgaben gestaltet und hergestellt werden. Aufgrund des exzellenten Designs ist ein Nachschleifen von Hand durch den Zahntechniker oder den Zahnarzt nicht notwendig. Die Abutments werden aus Rohlingen einer Titanlegierung gefräst.

Das Atlantis GoldHue™-Abutment besitzt die gleichen Eigenschaften und Vorteile des Atlantis™-Abutments aus Titan. Zusätzlich hat es eine dünne Beschichtung aus Titannitrid, die ihm eine warme, goldene Farbe gibt. Dies ist ein Vorteil in ästhetisch anspruchsvollen Fällen mit wenig Weichgewebe oder bei Verwendung von Vollkeramikkronen.

Das Atlantis™ Abutment aus Zirkondioxid ist zurzeit eines der wenigen Vollzirkondioxid-Abutments, auf dem Markt. Es ist aus Y TZP (yttria-stabilisierte tetragonal Zirkondioxid-Polykristallen). Die Abutments werden aus massiven Zirkondioxid-Blanks gefräst und besitzen unvergleichliche Festigkeit, Haltbarkeit und sind farbneutral. Im Vergleich mit Titan besitzen sie ausgezeichnete Biokompatibilität und verringerte Plaquebildung. Für größere Flexibilität sind die Abutments in vier verschiedenen Farbnuancen erhältlich. Das eingefärbte Zirkoniumdioxid Abutment hat eine besonders natürlich zahnähnliche Farbe und ist ideal für Fälle mit dünner Schleimhaut, oder wo Weichgewebeveränderungen vorkommen können.

Abutmentschrauben

Alle Abutments werden mit den entsprechenden Abutmentschrauben geliefert. Die Abutmentschrauben sind so gestaltet und hergestellt, dass sie zu der inneren Geometrie der patientenindividuellen Abutments von Atlantis™ passen.

Atlantis Gemini™ und Atlantis Gemini+™

Das Atlantis Gemini™Abutment ist eine exakt identische Kopie des originalen Abutments, die als Vorlage für eine erhöhte Laborgenauigkeit und eine optimierte Passform der Krone dienen kann. Es wird zusammen mit dem originalen Abutment bestellt und geliefert.

Das Atlantis Gemini+™Abutment ermöglicht Veränderungen an einem bereits existierenden Abutmentdesign. Das vermeidet eine erneute Abdrucknahme und Gebissregistrierung.
